The quality of workmanship provided by Mike at Mi Decor is outstanding. His knowledge of the best techniques and products to use (particularly important for this job where he was dealing with water-damaged walls and ceilings) is extremely impressive and his attention to detail is second to none. Not only has he once again done a first-class job, he is also an absolute pleasure to work with – 100% reliable, cheerful and never hesitates to go the extra mile.

I was very pleased with Mike who seems to be a sole trader. He initially came and gave me a quote for repairs – he then waited patiently while I got another quote from another builder. Job won he then advised me of the date work would start. He stuck to this and gave me nightly reports of progress which I appreciated. I liked that he explained what he would be doing and did it in a way that I understood. I was very impressed with how tidy he was and that he stuck to the price agreed. I would use him again and would recommend him to others.

In 20 years of employing various workmen Mike is the best contractor we’ve ever had. A super chap, his passion for the craft of painting is remarkable. He’s a walking encyclopedia of all things painting. From being always early in the mornings to the daily text updates on what had been achieved I can honestly say his work was faultless. The end result is our hallway has been transformed. It looks stunning. If you are considering doing any painting to your house, do not consider anybody other than Mike. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Mike – his work is superb.

The bedroom was badly in need of redecorating. The ceiling had been papered in woodchip and it now has a smooth finish. Other cracks and imperfections have also been addressed before redecoration. As usual Mike is very good with colours and a pleasant new shade was applied.

Very professional finish. We very much enjoyed meeting Mike and loved his enthusiasm for his work. He always left the house spotless, was very discreet and gave us a lot of useful advice. We could not find fault and we would not hesitate to use him again.

We moved into our flat in early April this year and, based on our past experience of his work, decided to wait until early September when Mike was available to redecorate our new home. Besides being passionate about his work as a painter/decorator, Mike is very punctual, hardworking, reliable and never compromises on quality even if it means spending more time on perfectly finishing the job. He goes about his work quietly, moving furniture, books etc as required to protect them before starting and puts things back after completing the job. MiDecor and Mike are absolutely fantastic. Very professional, reliable, trustworthy and thorough. We are busy during the week so Mike painted the practice over several weekends, making sure the practice was ready for business as usual on Monday morning. I have already personally recommended Mike to many friends. We were so happy with his work that he is now painting our house.

Mike did 2 of our children’s bedrooms. Mike was extremely professional and respectable. He is also very knowledgeable with paints, equipment and products. He made valuable recommendations on the type of work required to get a the best results. Mike is extremely courteous and punctual. He was very conscious of causing minimal disruption to the entire family. We have a new born and the baby slept peacefully even with Mike’ s presence. I would highly recommend Mike. Mike did an excellent job redecorating my flat, identifying which areas really needed focus. It looked fantastic afterwards. He was polite, always quick to respond and kept me updated with work every day (I don’t live at the property). I would definitely recommend.

Mike’s work was of the highest standard and we were delighted with the end result. He punctual, clean and tidy and an absolute pleasure to have in the house. Mike was also very flexible in undertaking a variety of work in different rooms. On room required complete redecoration and other rooms were just in need of a ‘tidy up’. We were especially impressed and pleased with his work on repairing a major crack that had appeared on our staircase – there is now no evidence of a crack having been there and he blended the paint exactly to match the existing colour. An amazing job! Mike is a real gem.

We employed Mike to decorate our little girls room. When he came around to quote initially he had some really good ideas about the room and how best to use colour to help with it’s proportions. Having started the project we found his work to be meticulous and to such a high quality. Always on time, he was also really respectful of the family e.G. Not making noise when our little girl was sleeping and we will be asking him back in the new year to do more work for us.

We recently moved into a new property which had some water damage on the bedroom wall following a leak in the roof. Mike was absolutely brilliant in repairing this and bringing the wall back to how it should be. His attention to detail is wonderful and he is so tidy and respectful that it was a pleasure to have him work in the house.

Mike was very friendly and helpful, from my first e-mail enquiry through to the end of the work. He always answered my e-mails quickly, and arrived on time to carry out the work.
